In this freely adapted learning dialogue inspired by Two and a Half Men, Alan decides to reconcile with his wife Judith, hoping to fix their marriage, but his visit doesn't go as planned, leaving him disappointed. Meanwhile, Charlie and Jake go to the movies. After Alan returns, the three enjoy a board game together. The next morning, after breakfast, when Berta brings Alan coffee, the family enjoys a relaxing day at the beach, and Alan begins to realize that staying with Charlie might not be so bad after all. By the end of the day, they reflect on their time together and agree to do it again.
