The story begins with "The Professor" meticulously planning a heist on the Royal Mint of Spain, recruiting eight skilled criminals with city-based code names. As they infiltrate the Mint and take hostages, tensions rise between the robbers and their captives, particularly as some hostages like Arturo attempt escape, causing chaos. Inside, Berlin leads the team while Tokyo narrates the unfolding drama and personal conflicts. Outside, Inspector Raquel Murillo negotiates, unaware her new acquaintance "Salva" is The Professor, leading to a tense personal and professional conflict. As the police uncover the robbers' identities, public pressure mounts, causing further internal discord among the robbers. The Professor's psychological tactics keep the police at bay, but Raquel's discovery of his identity leads to a dramatic showdown. The season ends on a cliffhanger with a fierce firefight during the police's final assault on the Mint, leaving the fate of the heist uncertain.
