Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

J.K. Rowling

Harry faces another challenging year at Hogwarts, learning that the escaped convict, Sirius Black, is allegedly after him. As the school's security tightens with Dementors patrolling, Harry struggles with his reactions to them, rooted in dark memories. Throughout the year, he discovers the truth about Sirius, his godfather, wrongly accused and framed by the actual traitor, Peter Pettigrew, who has been hiding as Ron's pet rat. With Hermione's help and a magical Time-Turner, they save Sirius from a wrongful fate, allowing him to escape. The experiences of the year test and strengthen the bonds of friendship, while exploring themes of betrayal, loyalty, and the importance of understanding the past.
