Lingard is a language-learning app that connects reading with vocabulary practice. Readers can explore books and news or import their own texts, look up words in context, and save the meanings they want to learn. An AI-powered dictionary also helps them explore word forms, synonyms and common word combinations.
Saved vocabulary becomes material for listening, speaking and spelling exercises, with spaced repetition for review. Lingard supports learning English, Spanish, German and French. It is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and the web, with supported reading and learning data synced through the same account. Users can start for free, with additional features available through paid plans.
Lingard is built by a team with ten years of experience developing language-learning apps. The team brings that experience to a simple goal: helping people turn the books, news and texts they choose to read into regular language practice.
