In the story, Victor Frankenstein recounts his life from a curious child in Geneva, deeply fascinated by the mysteries of science, to an ambitious young man at the University of Ingolstadt, where he ambitiously creates a living being from inanimate material. However, the grotesque appearance of his creation frightens Victor, causing him to abandon it. Shunned by society, the lonely and intelligent creature becomes embittered and seeks vengeance against his creator for his miserable existence, leading to tragic consequences for Victor and his loved ones. The narrative covers themes such as ambition, the consequences of transgressing nature, and the effects of isolation and rejection on the creature, who, despite initial innocence, is driven to commit horrific acts.
