John, a retired musician, discovers an old piano in the attic of his new home. Despite its worn appearance, the piano produces a beautiful sound, rekindling John’s passion for music. He spends days restoring it and is transported back to his days as a jazz pianist. The piano’s enchanting sound inspires John to return to playing and composing, rekindling his musical career. One night, mysterious music accompanies his playing, even though no one else is home. Intrigued, John explores the piano’s history and finds letters and compositions from Emily, a previous owner. Connecting deeply with Emily’s music, he encounters her ghost, who seeks to close a cycle through the culmination of her final composition. John promises to fulfill her wish, leading him on a journey of discovery and emotional connections that transcend time, ultimately finding peace for both Emily and himself.
