The story begins with "The Professor" meticulously planning a robbery of the Royal Mint of Spain, recruiting eight experienced criminals with city-related aliases. As they infiltrate the mint and take hostages, tensions rise between the robbers and their captives, especially when some hostages like Arturo attempt to escape, causing chaos. Inside, Berlin leads the team while Tokyo describes the unfolding drama and personal conflicts. Outside, Inspector Raquel Murillo negotiates, unaware that her new acquaintance "Salva" is actually The Professor, leading to a tense personal and professional conflict. When the police uncover the robbers' identities, public pressure mounts, causing further internal conflict among the robbers. The Professor's psychological tactics keep the police at bay, but Raquel's discovery of his identity leads to a dramatic confrontation. The season ends on a cliffhanger during a fierce firefight during the final police raid on the Mint, leaving the fate of the robbery uncertain.
