Cenicienta

Charles Perrault

Cinderella, a kind-hearted girl forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother and stepsisters, dreams of a better life despite her harsh circumstances. When the royal ball is announced, Cinderella's hopes of attending are dashed, but her fairy godmother appears and transforms her into a stunning princess for one night. At the ball, she captivates the prince, but as midnight approaches, she flees, leaving behind a glass slipper. The prince, determined to find her, searches throughout the kingdom and eventually discovers that the slipper fits Cinderella perfectly. Her kindness and resilience are rewarded when she marries the prince, leaving her life of hardship behind and finding the happiness she had always dreamed of.
